About Greg S. Johnson

Greg S. Johnson grew up in Chicago and now lives in Las Vegas. He taught English for several years in South Korea and Thailand, and has traveled extensively through Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. His childhood in Chicago and his time in Asia inform much of his writing.

His short fiction has appeared in Palooka and Amsterdam Quarterly, and he is an occasional contributor to CNN Travel and Matador Network.

He is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism and has recently completed his first novel, which is set in Laos in the early 1960s.
